The Master Of Pain presents:

 A TI99/4A Disks Compilation Pack!

In this .zip archive you can find the following files:

 *.dsk - MESS/V9T9 disk containing TI99 programs;

*.txt - Info files associated to each disk with the list of programs and indications on how to run the program. For example:

 TMOPDISK09
------------------------ ------ ------------------
CALORIE 51 PGM XB - CALL FILES(1)
CITTA 43 PGM
RACES 43 PGM TI
TEXTMODE 11 PGM XB+32K
STIDPOKER 39 PGM TI *
------------------------ ------ ------------------
       5 File(s) 139

 *=Memory Full!

The label "TMOPDISK09" is the disk name. On the left there is the file name to use to load the program (e.g. you must type OLD DSK1.CALORIE to run the "CALORIE" program). In the middle there is the disk space used (e.g. "CALORIE" is 51 blocks on disk). The label "PGM" is the TI file format and, finally, the last column indicates the configuration required to run the program. "XB" means that the TI Extended Basic is required. "TI" means that the program do not run in Extended Basic, but only in TI Basic. "XB+32K" means that the program requires the 32K memory expansion.
If there is nothing it means that you can run it using TI Extended Basic (also if it's a TI Basic program).

If there is the "CALL FILES(1)" label you need to execute the CALL FILES(1) command to add some extra memory in order to load and run the program. The note "*=Memory Full!" means that the program is not able to run in TI Basic with the Disk System, but only with the basic TI console and CS1 tape. Some code rework is needed to run these programs... good luck!

*.wav - These are sound files with original TI tape content to use with MESS. If the file ends with *-MM.wav you need to load it with Mini Memory. If ends with *-TI.wav you need to load it with the basic TI console and CS1 tape only. I tested them with MESS V067 and V070.

For some of these TMOP compilations I have done the scan of the manual/review associated (e.g. for TI99 Newsof and Jackson Sof compilations). Please, refer to such scans to have information/instructions related to the programs included.

All the work was done by The Master Of Pain in 2005 & 2006 using my original TI tapes, TI recorder and a PC using "Tape994a" program from Dick Selis (good, but buggy program in generating .dsk files...) and required a lot of effort and I hope it will be appreciated by other fans of the TI.

I decided to do it in order to contribute to the preservation of TI99 memory. The TI99/4A was my first computer and I still love it!
